Potion is adding a new facial treatment to the menu! Meet BioRePeelCI3, a patented 35% TCA peel that uses a 2-phase hydrophilic/lipophilic technology to exfoliate, beautify, and moisturize the skin.
This service will be offered as an individual treatment and as an add-on to any facial. We're also offering a package of 4 individual treatments that can be used just like our facial packages. It's rare to find a peel formulation that does so much, so gently, but this peel delivers real results. We've extensively researched it, consulted with other estheticians who use it, and tried it out ourselves. It's a highly effective treatment without intense pain or discomfort, extreme redness, peeling, or photosensitivity. It's suitable for most people, but as with any peel, there are some contraindications so please discuss any potential concerns with your esthetician ahead of time.

Developed in Italy, this innovative peel uses 35% TCA along with Lactobionic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Tartaric Acid, Citric Acid, and Aminobutyric Acid (GABA) provides bio-stimulating, revitalizing, and peeling-like effects, without the downtime of a traditional peel. The bi-phasic technology effectively carries the peel deeper into the skin while minimizing discomfort. It's safe for use year-round when using SPF 50 or higher - we hope you are always wearing sunscreen under this Texan sun - and is safe for all skin types, including our melanated babes! There's typically zero to minimal flaking post-treatment - we have some clients who’ve experienced more moderate shedding & light erythema post-peel, but nothing like a traditional peel. There’s no social downtime and you can resume your daily activities immediately post-treatment. (Although we don't recommend sitting in a sauna or soaking up the sun at Barton Springs right after!)

BioRePeel treats almost every skin condition: acne, melasma, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, stretch marks, and more. It stimulates fibroblast activity which in turn assists with a significant improvement in collagen and elastin production, resulting in a tightening and firming of the skin. It helps regulate sebum production as well.

BioRePeel is not suitable for use with the following conditions:
Active bacterial, viral, fungal or herpetic infections
Open wounds
Pre-existing inflammatory dermatosis (i.e., Psoriasis, Atopic Dermatitis, Pemphigus)
Any cancer of the skin, without being cancer-free for a period of 3 years and direct written notice from a physician.
Pregnancy
History of drugs with photosensitizing potential
Use of Accutane within the last 6-8 months
Underwent any recent cosmetic surgery
Aspirin Allergy

Pre Care:
NO AHAs, BHAs, retinoids, retinols, or any other exfoliating agents for 7-14 days prior to your peel
NO waxing or hair removal for 7-14 days prior
Avoid UV or sun exposure for 7-14 days prior
Post Care:
NO makeup 24-48 hours after your peel
NO AHAs, BHAs, and retinols for 7-14 days after
NO waxing or hair removal for 7-14 days after
NO swimming or saunas for 7-14 days after
NO sunbeds, tanning, or self-tanner for 7-14 days after
Keep your post-peel skincare routine simple: use gentle, soothing, calming products
ALWAYS use SPF 50+ in the AM and reapply every two hours
