MICROBLADING POST CARE

Besides basic wound care (avoiding sun & contamination), dry healing is the best approach for faster healing. Initial surface healing takes one to two weeks, complete healing will take 4 weeks. After 4 weeks, a touch up session can be performed. Detailed post care will also be explained & provided at your appointment.

1. Apply antibiotic ointment once daily for the first 2-3 days after your microblading.

2. Use moisture balm as needed 1-2x daily for up to 2 weeks.

3. Avoid touching or exposing your brows to debris (makeup, dust, hairspray, water etc). q-tips only to apply post care ointments.

4. Avoid direct/unprotected sun exposure.

5. Do not submerge your microbladed brows in any water for 2 weeks- no swimming in any type of body of water.

6. Do not rinse brows for 3-5 days. If water usage is necessary to remove debris use distilled or highly purified water. Use a thick layer of moisture balm or petroleum jelly to prevent scab tissue from absorbing water when showering. Avoid sweat inducing activities during the no-rinse period.

7. Do not scrub or pick at your brows.

8. Be patient with your skin as it heals.

AFTER Initial Healing (4-6 WEEKS)

Microblading will be fully healed by the end of a skin cycle, which varies from 4-6 weeks. A touch up can be performed once the initial healing has completed.

To prevent brows from fading faster avoid using exfoliants on brows & avoid unprotected sun exposure.

Microblading can take 6months to 2 years before needing a touch up.
